Introduction

Swiss Post operates a national critical infrastructure and has one of the largest computer networks nationwide. Securing the systems is a core requirement to ensuring the smooth operation of Swiss Post. You help us ensure our systems are protected against attacks 24/7.

How you make a difference

• You and your small but efficient team are responsible for monitoring and coordinating operational IT security.
• In day-to-day business, you analyse incidents and take appropriate measures.
• You know your way around different platforms and command lines, proactively support the automation of routine jobs and consistently pursue the traces of  “Advanced Persistent Threat”.
• You develop and optimize our existing security programmes.
• We are all about variety, which is why our “tiers” are not fixed, but change at regular intervals.
• As an ambassador for IT security, you understand the importance of striking a balance between the protection and commercial use of the systems.

What you have to offer

• You have basic or advanced training in I/T and are passionate about IT security.
• You already have several years of experience in a similar role in the field of operational IT security, ideally within a large company.
• Certifications in the field of IT security, e.g. GIAC, are highly valued.
• You have programming expertise (Python and Splunk) and are able to skilfully apply it.
• You keep calm in chaotic situations and keep a constant eye on Group-wide IT security.
• A very good command of German and English round off your profile.
