Join our “Connectivity Service” team and work with colleagues and the security team to create a robust and secure IT environment within Swiss Post Group.
How you make a difference
- You assume responsibility for the network architecture in the data center and develop readily-available, future-proof solutions.
- You shape the network roadmap and vision and represent them in internal committees.
- You create, maintain and successfully implement concepts for the network infrastructure.
- You coordinate the lifecycle management process for hardware and software to guarantee the optimum use of resources.
- You use your expertise to assist with procurement and calls to tender for network components.
- You plan new technologies for integration into the existing infrastructure and you implement them as well.
- You get involved in projects as a representative of our team and you actively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders alike.
What you have to offer
- A degree in IT, ideally plus further education at a tertiary level (higher technical school, university of applied sciences, university), and the relevant certifications, form the basis of your profile.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of network architecture, routing and software-defined networking (SDN), and ideally experience with Cisco ACI as well.
- You are interested in current trends in network technologies and security concepts such as Zero Trust, and you like to keep up with the latest developments.
- Your strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure mean you stay professional even in demanding situations.
- Finally, you have very good command of spoken and written German and English.
