Role overview:

 

We’re looking for a developer who is passionate about maintaining, refining, and improving a product that our customers depend on every day.

You’ll primarily work on our iOS and macOS applications, while having the opportunity to broaden your skills across Android and web technologies. The role is focused on maintenance, stability, and incremental improvements rather than constant new feature development — making it perfect for someone who values clean, reliable code and long-term product ownership.

As part of an agile, cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate with designers, QA, and other developers to keep our systems running smoothly, modernize where needed, and contribute to gradual enhancements that make a real difference for our users.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Maintain and improve our iOS/macOS applications, with opportunities to work on Android and web codebases.
  • Fix bugs, resolve technical debt, and enhance performance.
  • Implement UI/UX refinements and small feature updates based on user feedback.
  • Integrate with our in-house cryptography libraries and APIs.
  • Contribute to code quality through testing, refactoring, and reviews.
  • Participate in architecture discussions for long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and QA to ensure smooth releases.

 

What you will need:

 

  • 1+ years of experience working on mid or large sized services,
  • Experience in Swift,
  • A solid knowledge of iOS native frameworks, tools, and development techniques,
  • Able to learn quickly & work in a fast-paced environment,
  • You’re passionate about helping others and keen to roll up your sleeves and take ownership to drive company-wide impact,
  • Collaborated across teams and you have the willingness to learn from others,
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Bonus points:
    • Experience in Objective-C,
    • Experience with macOS development with native frameworks (eg. File Provider),
    • Experience with Android development tools,
    • Experience in Front-end developing (Angular 2+ and/or React with TypeScript),
    • Experience contributing to open-source software and/or have a Github account with some cool projects in it.
