Join a leading end-to-end encrypted cloud storage and collaboration tools provider to help us solve challenging problems and play a central role as a UX Research Team Lead in our product development processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of UX research methodologies and findings among other researchers and designers, working closely with teams across the entire organisation to help us improve our product. This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and champion research opportunities that enhance our product and user experience.
  • Present compelling findings and insights to stakeholders, influencing product development and decision-making.
  • Define and implement our UX research process, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research throughout the product development lifecycle and UX design processes.
  • Strategically plan and execute a variety of research methods, including focus groups, surveys (quantitative and qualitative), card sorting, participatory design workshops, heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs, and A/B tests.
  • Mentor and guide our UX Research team, helping them discover and propose actionable solutions to user needs.
  • Be a strong advocate for users, effectively communicating research insights to inform product development and design.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on new research methods and trends, educating and empowering the team.
  • Combine data-driven and user-centric methodologies to achieve superior results.
  • Educate colleagues across the organization about the value and impact of UX research.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in UX research within a product development organization.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present complex research analysis clearly and persuasively.
  • In-depth knowledge of a wide array of user research methods.
  • A strong sense of independence, ownership, and initiative, with the ability to self-direct your work, define execution strategies, and meet deadlines.
  • English proficiency is required; German is a plus.
